What should be paid attention to when maintaining a bridge crane?

1) The appearance of the bridge crane: Clean the appearance so that there is no accumulation of dust or yellow robe. Check for cracks or welding.

2) Large carts and small carts: ① Check and tighten whether the transmission shaft seat, gear box, coupling, shaft and keys are loose; ② Check and adjust the brake wheel clearance to make it even, sensitive and reliable.

3) Check the bridge crane reducer to see whether it leaks oil. When there is an abnormal noise in the box during operation, you must open the box lid to check. It is generally caused by bearing damage, too large gear meshing gap, serious wear on the tooth surface.

4) Lifting and winching: ① Check whether the wire rope, hook and pulley are safe and reliable. If the wear exceeds the specified value, it should be replaced. ② Check and adjust the brakes to make them safe, sensitive and reliable.

5) Inspection of wire ropes for bridge cranes. Commonly used varieties include phosphated coated steel wire rope, galvanized steel wire rope and glossy steel wire rope. When inspecting the wire rope, focus on observing broken wire, wear, kink, rust, etc., and mark some places where the wear and broken wire are more serious but have not exceeded the standard for tracking and re-inspection. Pay attention to check whether the safety limiter of the wire rope in the reel is effective, whether the wire rope pressure plate on the reel is tightened and whether the number of pressure plates is appropriate.

6) Lubrication: Check the quality and amount of oil in all parts, and add or replace the lubricating oil as required.

7) Inspection of bridge crane pulleys. Whether the wear amount at the bottom of the groove exceeds the standard and whether there are cracks in the cast iron pulley. For the balance wheel of the rolling mechanism pulley set, it is easy to be ignored due to normal circumstances. Therefore, before installation, it is necessary to check its rotation flexibility. Otherwise, the length and tension of the left and right steel wire ropes during installation cannot be automatically adjusted through the balance wheel, which increases the difficulty and operational risk of adjusting the top rope at high altitude.

8) Electrical: ① Check whether each limit switch is sensitive and reliable; ③ Check whether each electrical appliance in the electrical box is sensitive and reliable; ③ Check whether the motor, bell, and wires are safe and reliable; ④ Check whether the signal light is good.

9) Check whether the coupling joints of the bridge crane are loose or even "rolled". Focus on checking whether the elastic rubber ring of the elastic column pin coupling is abnormally worn. Pay special attention to the wear of the gear ring when the toothed coupling is used. Due to poor installation accuracy and large offset between the two axes, it is manifested that the entire ring gear will quickly get bald in a short period of time. If this happens in the lifting mechanism, serious accidents are prone to occur.
