What are the common faults and solutions of bridge cranes

What are the common faults and solutions of bridge cranes

Common faults of bridge cranes include mechanical transmission, electrical control, and metal structure. The following are specific faults and solutions:

In terms of mechanical transmission

Brake failure and low braking torque

Reasons: Oil stains on the surface of the brake wheel, severe wear of the brake pad lining, improper adjustment of the main spring, fatigue of the main spring, improper installation of the brake, improper adjustment of the electromagnetic stroke, and inflexible rotation of the impeller of the hydraulic thruster.

Solution: Clean the oil stains on the surface of the brake wheel, replace the brake pad lining, adjust the tension of the main spring, replace the new spring, adjust the installation position of the brake, readjust the magnet stroke, adjust the impeller to eliminate jamming resistance, etc.

The brake cannot be activated

Reasons: Excessive tension in the main spring, jamming of the brake lever transmission system, bending of the brake screw, adhesion of the brake pad lining to the dirty working surface of the brake wheel, burning or broken wiring of the electromagnetic coil, jamming of the impeller of the hydraulic thruster, excessive voltage drop in the circuit, etc.

Solution: Adjust the tension of the main spring, check the transmission system and eliminate the jamming phenomenon, disassemble the brake and straighten or replace the screw, remove the dirt on the surface of the brake wheel, replace the brake coil or connect the coil wiring, eliminate the impeller jamming fault, eliminate the voltage drop and cause, and restore the normal voltage value.

The brake lining heats up, emits smoke, and has a burning smell, causing rapid wear and tear of the lining

Reason: Improper adjustment of the gap between the brake pad lining and the brake wheel, failure of the secondary spring of the short stroke brake, misalignment between the brake bracket and the brake wheel, rough working surface of the brake wheel, etc.

Solution: readjust the gap between the lining and the brake wheel, replace the secondary spring, reinstall the brake to achieve concentricity requirements, re smooth or replace the brake wheel, etc.

The reducer vibrates on the bridge

Reason: Loose anchor bolts on the reducer base, misalignment between the reducer input shaft and the motor shaft, or misalignment between the reducer output shaft and the driven workpiece shaft, poor stiffness of the reducer base support steel structure, etc.

Solution: Tighten the anchor bolts, readjust the reducer to achieve concentricity requirements, reinforce the support to increase its stiffness, etc.

The car is in a "three legged" running state

Reasons: Unqualified wheel manufacturing, poor wheel installation accuracy, inadequate or deformed small frame manufacturing, height difference between two main beams on the same section exceeding the allowable range, poor quality of small car track installation, etc.

Solution: Replace the unqualified wheels, adjust the installation position of the wheels, correct the trolley frame, adjust the trolley track to make the top elevation of the two trolley tracks on this section consistent or within the allowable tolerance range.

The car slips during operation

Reason: There are oil stains or sand particles on the top surface of the track, poor installation quality of the wheels with hanging phenomenon, and a large difference in elevation between the top of two small cars in the same section.

Solution: Remove oil stains or sand particles from the top surface of the track, adjust the installation position of the Z-drive wheel, adjust the track of the small car to meet installation standards, etc.

During the operation of the large vehicle, the wheel rim gnaws on the track

Reasons: Unqualified wheel manufacturing, significant difference in transmission clearance between the two transmission systems, poor installation accuracy of the large vehicle wheels, deformation of the bridge structure, poor installation quality of the large vehicle track, improper adjustment of the brakes at both ends during separate driving, etc.

Solution: Remake the wheels to make them equal in diameter to the other wheel, check the transmission systems on both sides and eliminate excessive gaps, readjust the installation accuracy of the wheels, repair the bridge frame to ensure that the diagonal tolerance of the large vehicle meets technical requirements, adjust the large vehicle track to meet installation standards, adjust the two end brakes to fully open during operation and ensure equal braking torque at both ends during braking.
