Routine operation of gantry crane
Portal cranes are widely used in outdoor and loading and unloading engineering operations. While the gantry crane is working normally, especially before starting work, we need to do a good job of inspection, effectively understand the correct operation process and methods of the gantry crane, in order to achieve the best product effect. Next, let's take a closer look at the conventional operation methods of Weifang gantry cranes together!
Before assembling the gantry of a gantry crane, all component dimensions and assembly numbers should be checked, the assembly surfaces of each joint web should be cleaned, and local deformations should be treated to ensure the quality of the gantry assembly. For segmented upper and lower beams, end beams, and main beams, they should be combined as a whole on a ground combination platform as much as possible to reduce high-altitude operations, and their straightness should be measured by pulling steel wire, which should not exceed ± 2.0mm.
When measuring the arch or level of the main beam with steel wire during operation of a gantry crane, it is necessary to correct the influence of the self weight deflection of the steel wire. The diameter, tension force, and distance of the steel wire should comply with relevant regulations. If bolts or high-strength bolts are used for connection, relevant regulations should be followed for construction.
Portal cranes are generally installed in a bottom-up manner. Firstly, the walking trolley and lower crossbeam are installed on the track. Then, flexible legs and rigid legs are installed on both sides, and temporary cable ropes are used to stabilize the support legs. The truss type main beam needs to be assembled on site first, and the assembled main beam can be placed horizontally on the track using the track of the large vehicle as a horizontal reference. When assembling the main beam, attention should be paid to maintaining the upper camber of its mid span to compensate for the sinking deflection caused by its own weight.
Before lifting the main beam of the gantry crane, calculate its * center position, and then determine the lifting point position and load of the auxiliary crane based on this. When lifting with two machines, the load should be reasonably allocated according to the lifting performance of the auxiliary crane, and the lifting load of each auxiliary crane should not exceed 80% of its allowable load. If the weight of the main beam is large, we can install the lifting mechanism, lifting trolley, cab and other components after the installation of the main beam.
