General purpose bridge crane

General bridge crane: ordinary purpose bridge cranes, mainly including hook bridge cranes, grab bridge cranes, electromagnetic bridge cranes, dual-purpose bridge cranes, and three-purpose bridge cranes.

Its spreader is one of hook type, grab type, and electromagnetic suction cup type, or two or three of them are used at the same time. General bridge cranes are widely used in indoor and outdoor warehouses, factories, docks and open-air storage yards.

Structural composition

The general bridge crane is mainly composed of: large truck operating mechanism, small truck operating mechanism, lifting mechanism and electrical equipment. Both ends of the bridge are supported on elevated tracks above the factory building or open-air cargo yard and run vertically along the track; the lifting trolley runs horizontally along the trolley track on the main beam of the bridge.

The basic parameters of a general bridge crane include:

1. Rated lifting weight. When main and secondary hooks are provided, the rated lifting weight is represented by fractional expression, the numerator represents the lifting weight of the main hook, and the denominator represents the lifting weight of the secondary hook.

2. Span. Also known as span, it refers to the distance between two parallel tracks that the crane walks. The span of a crane is generally 1.5m smaller than the span of the workshop, and its span is from 10.5m to 31.5m, and those greater than 31.5m are non-standard spans.

3. Speed. The speed is determined by the busyness of the crane. The light stage is working at a lower speed and the heavy stage is working at a faster speed. The lifting weight is small, the speed can be faster, and the lifting weight is large, so the speed should be slowed down, otherwise it will be detrimental to safety.

The speed of a general-purpose bridge crane includes four aspects:

One is the speed of the car. There are three types of movement speeds of the cart: 80, 100, and 120m/min;

The second is the speed of the car. The car's movement speed is generally 40m/min;

The third is the lifting speed of the hook. Generally 8-20m/min;

Fourth, the lifting height. The standard lifting height of the hook is 12m until 32m.
