Definition of electric single beam crane in standard number: JB/T 1306-94:

LD electric single-beam crane refers to a bridge crane with an electric hoist running on the lower flange of the main beam and an electric hoist arranged under the main beam.

After improvement of the LD type, an electric single-beam suspension crane called LX type (JB/T1306) has been formed.

There are also two other models of uncommon electric single beam cranes:

1. LDP: The LDP electric single-beam crane was developed and developed by the Tianjin Crane Equipment Factory in the late 1980s. It is equipped with the German Star Hoist (AS Hoist) and an angled trolley. It uses welded box-shaped main beams, and the trolley tracks are arranged on the web and sides of the main beam. It is named LDP in the JB/T1306-1994 standard.

2. LDC: The LDC type electric single-beam crane also uses welded box-shaped main beam, but the lower flange plate is wider and thicker, and the hoist runs directly on the lower flange plate. The EKKE electric single beam crane of DEMAG and the CXT electric single beam crane of KONE (Kone Crane) are both of this type.

There are also two types of single-beam cranes: MH is an electric hoist gantry crane (JB/T5663.2), and LH is an electric hoist bridge crane (JB/T3695)

Daily maintenance

A. The keys of the power switch box are managed by designated personnel, and the electric hoist must be regularly maintained, inspected and lubricated to avoid accidents.

B. After every 200 hours of use, check whether there are cracks or cold deformation of the electrical devices, control systems and hooks.

C. After every 50 hours of use, check the damage of the wire rope drum and rope guide and the tightening of the support bolts.

D. Every year after year, the crane usage should be comprehensively checked, especially the wear of consumable parts and transmission parts. If there is too much wear, it should be replaced immediately.
