What are the specific safety precautions to pay attention to when using a bridge crane? Let me take you to understand together.
Daily pre start check
Braking system: Test the sensitivity of the brake to ensure that the hook anti detachment device is intact and undamaged.
Wire rope and lifting equipment: Check that the wire rope is not broken, deformed, or knotted, and that the hook has no cracks or excessive wear (wear amount ≤ 10% of the original size).
Electrical system: Confirm that the auxiliary equipment such as controllers, limit switches, electric bells, emergency switches, etc. are functioning properly.
Safety devices: Load limiters, limiters, buffers, and anti-collision devices must be sensitive and effective.
Track and operating range: Clear obstacles on the track and confirm that there are no personnel stranded in the work area.
Trial lifting and operation
Before lifting, the equipment needs to be operated with no load to confirm that all mechanisms are functioning properly.
When lifting heavy objects, first lift them 100-200mm off the ground to check the stability of the brake, wire rope, and lifted object.
The height of the suspended object above the ground should be ≥ 2m, and an additional 0.5m should be raised when crossing obstacles.
Regular maintenance
The steel wire rope needs to be inspected once a month and replaced immediately if it meets the scrap standard (if the number of broken wires exceeds 10% of the total number of wires).
The crane needs to undergo annual inspection by a professional organization to ensure that the equipment meets safety standards.
