What are the maintenance methods for single beam cranes
1. Regularly check the temperature of the crane motor housing and bearings, and pay attention to whether the motor has abnormal noise or vibration. During frequent start-up, due to low speed, poor ventilation and cooling effect, and high current consumption, the temperature of the motor will rapidly increase. Be sure to ensure that the motor temperature does not exceed the maximum limit specified in its user manual. At the same time, the brake should be adjusted according to the operating instructions of the motor.
If the frequency of use of a single beam crane is low and the sealing and operating conditions are good, the lubricating oil in the reducer should be replaced every six months. In harsh environments, it should be replaced quarterly. If water enters the oil tank or foam frequently appears on the oil level, the lubricating oil shall be replaced immediately after it is confirmed that it has deteriorated. When changing the oil, please strictly follow the oil type specified in the gearbox manual and do not mix different types of lubricating oil.
3. Inspection: The main purpose is to check whether the components of the single beam crane are worn, whether the fasteners are firm, and whether the safety devices are in good working condition during daily idle time and operation. If any problems are found, they should be dealt with immediately. If it cannot be resolved on its own, the equipment should be marked and other personnel should be instructed to stop operating it. The report should be immediately made to the superior, and the operation can only be resumed after the maintenance personnel have completed the handling.
4. Single beam cranes are made of materials such as steel, which can cause component wear during operation. Therefore, lubricating oil has been developed to effectively reduce equipment wear. Proper lubrication is a Z-industry skill; Maintenance personnel strictly adhere to relevant standards to ensure proper lubrication.
5. Cleanliness: Single beam cranes working in harsh environments are prone to accumulating external dust and debris. However, if dust seeps into internal components due to damaged seals, it may cause unforeseen and serious consequences. In addition, if the surface of the machine cooling system is covered with excessive impurities or dust, the cooling system will not function properly. In addition, regular cleaning of equipment can effectively prevent its surface from being severely corroded by acids, alkalis, and other substances.
6. All personnel involved in the operation of single beam cranes shall strictly comply with the equipment operation specifications. Do not assume that you have operational experience, as operational errors or the negligence of other personnel can easily lead to accidents.
